Get to know Voice of Victory contestant Osby Berry!
Osby Berry, a 30-year-old Cincinnati native, has been doing amazing kingdom work in the past few years. He’s an active member with Tommy McGuffey and True Worship, as well as the GMWA Dayton Chapter, where his original songs have been selected and ministered across the world. He is also a part of Cross Worship; a collection of worshippers that travel to spread God’s goodness through song. He has shared the stage with national recording gospel artists such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Marvin Sapp, Myron Butler, Anita Wilson, Dayton’s very own Tonya Baker, and many others. He serves as Minister of Music at Aspire Church and keyboardist at Valley Peace Missionary Baptist Church. With unwavering support from his beautiful wife Shelea, their two sons, close friends, and family he started working on his very first album that will be released next year. He humbly submits, “I strongly believe that what you do for Christ will last. I just want all that I do in this life to be pleasing to God.”
.What would people say is unique about you?
Outside of having a unique voice, I believe what really makes me unique is how I love on people and genuinely care for others. A lot of people don’t have a heart such as I have and that’s what makes me stand out from the crowd
What does being a finalist in our event “Voice of Victory” mean to you?
It means the absolute world to me! To be the only male vocalist that made the cut is a great honor.
